The research activities of NaUKMA staff are viewed as an integrated system of studies focused on examining pressing issues in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences within the overarching concept “Ukraine: Human, Society, Nature.”

Specialized Academic Council
The Council is authorized to accept and conduct defenses of dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences in the following specialties: 12.00.01 “Theory and History of State and Law; History of Political and Legal Doctrines” and 12.00.11 “International Law.”
Academic Projects
The Faculty constantly cooperates with leading Ukrainian law firms, government agencies and non-governmental organizations, which greatly expands the opportunities for students to undertake internships and employment.
Graduates of the Master’s Program in Law provide high-level legal services to a wide range of enterprises, institutions, and organizations, or successfully serve in public authorities.
Research Papers
The journal "NaUKMA Research Papers. Law" is a printed media, a scientific peer-reviewed open access journal that publishes original papers and research materials in the field of legal sciences. The journal is included in the list of Ukrainian scientific professional periodicals that may publish the results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences.

An international peer-reviewed, English-language electronic journal founded by NaUKMA in 2015. It publishes research in legal and political sciences, including jurisprudence, constitutional and international law, political theory and methodology, and European law. The journal is open access, assigns DOIs to articles, and operates under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license.
