Center for Innovative Methods of Legal Education
The Center was established in 2002 to organize and coordinate research in the field of legal education methodology, to develop and implement innovative methods of teaching legal sciences, and to elaborate fundamentally new approaches to modern legal studies in the legal education system of Ukraine.
Main focus areas of the Center’s activities:
- research and generalization of scientific and methodological recommendations for teaching legal disciplines in higher law schools of Ukraine and leading countries of the world;
- organization of research and educational and methodological work on the problems of legal education;
- development and approbation of original author’s methods, new programs in legal disciplines;
- development of legal clinical education in Ukraine;
- organization of conferences, meetings, seminars on the problems of modern legal education;
- translation of scientific, methodological, educational, regulatory materials by foreign authors;
- publication of scientific, methodological and educational literature, materials of conferences, seminars, trainings;
- establishing contacts with international and foreign organizations, educational and research institutions in order to study and disseminate the best international experience in preparing highly qualified lawyers;
- monitoring the ranking of Ukrainian law schools.
