Dr. Volodymyr Venher
Dean of the Faculty of Law of National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", Associate Professor in the Department of General Theoretical Jurisprudence and Public Law
Dr. Volodymyr Venher conducts comprehensive research on the theoretical foundations and practice of implementing the rule of law and human rights standards in Ukraine. His research activity is aimed at developing and substantiating the methods of applying the effectiveness criteria for the public authorities, particularly in the following areas: the provision of public services, the organization and conduct of elections and judicial control for protection of human rights. Dr. Venher is currently working on constitutional and legal issues of implementing the principle of separation of powers and limiting discretionary powers as components of the rule of law. Dr. Venher was recently appointed Visiting Research Fellow of the Institute of European and Comparative Law, University of Oxford.
