Constitutional Law

Constitutional Law of Ukraine is based on the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, which is also the main source of law for all other branches of national legislation. This course integrates concepts of related legal disciplines such as general theory of law, constitutional law of foreign countries, administrative law, human rights and their protection, comparative electoral law and parliamentarism, and others. The primary task of the course is to provide students with in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, established principles of the constitutional order, mechanisms of the exercise of power, content and scope of rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen. The purpose of the course is to provide future lawyers with a range of expertise and skills necessary to perform their future duties at the required professional level.
