Denys Azarov
First Vice President of the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal and Criminal Procedural Law
Holds a degree of Candidate of Science of Law (PhD), researches the problems of classification of criminal offenses, differentiation and individualization of criminal liability. He is the author of the first comprehensive criminal law study of cybercrime in Ukraine, which was awarded the Petro Mohyla Prize.
Member of the Scientific and Methodological Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the specialty “Law”, co-author of the Bachelor's and Master's Standards of Higher Education of Ukraine.
Member of the working group of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the organization and conduct of a unified professional entrance examination in 2016–2021.
Member of the working group of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on methodological, organizational and analytical support of the unified state qualification exam in the specialties 081 “Law” and 293 “International Law”.
Member of the working group of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the development of the Concept of Development of Legal Education in Ukraine.
Secretary of the I–IV Congresses of Representatives of Law Schools and Scientific Institutions for the election of members of the High Council of Justice and members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
Member of the editorial board of the journal “Scientific Notes of NaUKMA. Legal Sciences”, the Scientific Council of the journal “Zeszyty Naukowe TD UJ” published by the Jagiellonian University (Krakow), the editorial board of the journal “Teisė” published by Vilnius University (Lithuania).
