History of Legal Thought

The course “History of Legal Thought” aims to contribute to the formation of the basic knowledge system of Ukrainian law students.  By studying this course, they will be able to feel like Plato and Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas and John Chrysostom, Immanuel Kant or Friedrich Hegel, or at least to learn about how these and many other prominent world philosophers contributed to the continuing attention to their legal works.  While studying the course, through completing various assignments, students will be able not only to immerse themselves in the world’s philosophical heritage, but also to develop it in the most incredible ways.
