The mission of the Center is to develop and increase the scientific achievements of criminal justice to ensure security and justice.

About the CJRC

Criminal Justice Research Centre (CJRC) was established in 2026 for development and increasing scientific achievements in the area of criminal justice to ensure security and fairness.

Activities of the CJRC are focused on the following issues:

1) Adaptation of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, Criminal Executive Code of Ukraine, as well as other laws of Ukraine related to criminal justice to EU acquis and proper implementation of international treaties in this area to the legislation of Ukraine;

2) Scientific support of the state policy in the area of criminal, criminal procedural, criminal executive and administrative tort law, status and activities of the rule of law bodies, public prosecution authorities, advocacy, as well as courts of criminal jurisdiction;

3) Research of common and different features in criminal, administrative, disciplinary, and civil offences and their grounds;

4) Protection of rights and interests of victims of criminal offences.
