Legal Interpretation

Legal Interpretation is a practical course within the courses in general legal theory, which builds upon the courses of the theory of law, elements of philosophy of law, constitutional legal courses, public international law and focuses on the issue of legal interpretation. The course aims to introduce students to various theories of legal interpretation in general by covering legal and philosophical aspects of interpretation, and the specifics of interpreting national legislation and international treaties as well as contracts. It provides students with the possibility of acquiring the skills of various interpretive techniques (both those used in the past and modern ones) understanding, as well as the skills of various legal situations, and use of all available sources of law comprehensive analysis.
