Criminal Law Qualification: Practicum

This academic course belongs to the group of courses that are usually referred to as “advanced level” in English-speaking law schools, as this course enables students to rise to a much higher level of mastery of the skills of substantive and partially procedural criminal law practical application, to acquire practical skills in the application of relevant legislation, to improve the ability to develop and justify a legal position. The course is entirely based on the case study method, which is focused on engaging students in discussion, critical thinking, reasoning and defending a legal position. The course is a part of the “Criminal Justice” certificate program.
