Mediation and Other Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods

The elective course offers students a new perspective on dispute resolution methods, both traditional and alternative, and provides a deeper insight into the essential basics of conflict resolution that lawyers who mainly engage in work with disputes should know and consider when dealing with private clients, as well as when designing local and state dispute resolution systems. As a result of the training, students will be able to understand the system of alternative (out-of-court) dispute resolution, the advantages of certain types of ADR, their distinctive features, and possibilities of application.
