Independence of the Judiciary: Standards and Mechanisms of Ensuring

The discipline is aimed at forming in the students of the master’s program an in-depth understanding of the principle of independence of the judiciary and its importance for the establishment of the rule of law in our society. The program of the academic discipline covers a wide range of issues related to the role of the judiciary and its features in the structure of state power, mechanisms for ensuring the institutional and functional independence of the judiciary, accountability of the judiciary to society, guarantees of the independence and inviolability of judges, judicial self-government and court administration.
