Moot Courts: Criminal Justice
Within the framework of the course, a model trial is conducted to review the materials of criminal proceedings, allowing students to acquire skills in participating in a trial, preparing procedural documents, providing evidence, questioning witnesses, making a court speech, etc. Students taking this course are divided into several teams that participate in a model trial on the side of the prosecution (prosecutor), defense (accused, attorney), victim and civil plaintiff. The model trials will be presided over by a practicing judge instructor. The course is mandatory for those who are enrolled in “Criminal Justice” certificate program.
