History of International Law
The course covers the issues of methodology of international legal historiography, key categories of the history of international law as a science (empire, hegemony, balance of power, sovereignty), as well as the main paradigms of historical development of international law (imperial paradigm (ancient and medieval) and “world-system” paradigm) are considered. Particular attention is paid to the history of the science of international law, which is a reflection of its historical development.
