Associate Professor of the Department of International and European Law
Legal Director at Truth Hounds and member of the international advisory council of the Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine. Dr. Koval was a research fellow at Stanford University, Central European University, Jagiellonian University, and the Graduate School for Social Research of the Polish Academy of Science. He has experience working with the issues of International Humanitarian and Human Rights Law in the countries of West and Central Asia, China and Ukraine as well as advising international and regional organizations, Ukrainian Government and MPs. Also experience in conducting research in international law and sociology. He is a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University (USA) in 2019-2020. Since 2021, Dmytro Koval represents Ukraine in the UNESCO Protocol 1999 Committee. He is a board member of the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize winner Center for Civil Liberties.
