Current Issues of Theory of Law

This elective course is focused on the study of issues of theory of law, in particular, the necessity of rethinking the subject matter and structure of general theoretical jurisprudence, that is caused not only by internal but also by external factors, the most significant being the development of interstate integration processes, gradually covering the spheres of science and education along with economic, political, and legal spheres. The subject matter of the course is a system of concepts and categories that generally express the place of law in society, its relationship to other social phenomena, including the state, the logic of law functioning and development as well as the identification of the respective patterns.
