Bachelor’s program “Public and Private Governance”
The purpose of the program is to train public servants who are able to solve specialized assignments and practical problems in the field of public management and administration. The program involves the application of theories and scientific methods in the field of public administration and local self-government and has complex and uncertain character. The focus of the program is to develop students’ professional competencies to manage the development of communities, regions, the state as a whole, as well as civil society, to establish multi-level governance, to find and apply sources of funding for development programs and projects using the best domestic and foreign practices of public and private governance.
The local self-government reform has changed the activities and distribution of powers and resources at the local level. Consequently, there is a need for qualified managers and experts for local governments, civil service and civil society.
