Daria Bohatchuk
Associate Professor at the Department of Private Law
Dr. Daria Bohatchuk is Associate Professor at the Department of Private Law, Faculty of Law, National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. She is Co-Chair of the Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Research Group at the NaUKMA Rule of Law Research Center. Expert in AI regulation and governance.
Her areas of expertise and research include intellectual property law, digital law, legal aspects of artificial intelligence, EU law, and international law. Her research focuses, in particular, on the protection of intellectual property rights in the components of AI systems, patentability requirements and patent disclosure standards, transparency rules under the EU AI Act, and electronic justice. She is the author of more than 50 publications on legal topics and has developed a number of university courses.
Daria has over sixteen years of professional experience in law, which includes work at the University of Basel in Switzerland, at a prominent Ukrainian law firm, and at the secretariat of a constitutional body in the field of justice.
