Andriy Meleshevych Scholarship for Masters Students

Andriy Meleshevych was a scholar, lecturer, President of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (2014-2019), and Dean of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Faculty of Law (2005-2014). He has constantly supported student initiatives and self-government, helped to initiate and implement the certificate program «Anti-corruption Studies», due to his efforts the Kyiv-Mohyla School of Governance was also launched.

Andriy Meleshevych was a member of the board at Transparency International Ukraine, a member of the Constitutional Commission of Ukraine, a member of the National Council on Anti-Corruption Policy of Ukraine, he has drafted the Law of Ukraine «On Higher Education».

NaUKMA Alumni Association, Kyiv-Mohyla Andriy Meleshevych School of Government, the Interdisciplinary Scientific and Educational Center for Combating Corruption (ACREC) and the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences have initiated the continuation of Andriy Meleshevych’s efforts.

The scholarship is intended for 3 master’s students of the Kyiv-Mohyla Andriy Meleshevych School of Governance, the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences and the «Anti-Corruption Studies» program as Andriy Meleshevych is associated with them. It is intended for talented students who show academic success and are active socially. The scholarship will cover one year of study in the program for one student.
