Professor Myroslava Antonovych At Harvard University

We are delighted to share that Myroslava Antonovych, head of the Center for Genocide and Human Rights Studies and Associate Professor at National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy has been chosen as a finalist in the “Bridge USA Ukrainian Academic Fellows” Program.  Dr. Professor Antonovych was welcomed at Harvard University as Visiting Professor for this academic year.

Dr. Antonovych heads the Center for Genocide and Human Rights Studies at National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, where she is an associate professor at the law school. She is also professor and dean at the Ukrainian Free University, Munich, and a former judge ad hoc of the European Court of Human Rights.

She is the author of over 130 articles: The latest are The Hegemony of a Ruling Party as a Common Element in the Armenian Genocide, the Holodomor and the Holocaust in 2023; The Holodomor-Genocide and the Ongoing Russian Genocide in Ukraine: Intent, Victims and Perpetrators in 2022;  Ongoing Russian Genocide against the Ukrainian Nationin 2022;  A Crime of Crimes: What is Genocide and How It Is Punished (in Ukrainian) 2022.

Myroslava Antonovych holds several law degrees — including an LLM from McGill University (Canada), a Dr. Iuris and Dr. Iuris Habil. from the Ukrainian Free University (Germany), and a specialist degree in law from Lviv National University — as well as a Ph.D. in philology from Kyiv Linguistic University.
