Volodymyr Venher continues as Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Oxford

The Faculty of Law of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy continues to strengthen its international academic engagement with the University of Oxford.

The Governing Committee of the Institute of European and Comparative Law (IECL), University of Oxford, has decided to extend Volodymyr Venher’s Visiting Research Fellowship at the Institute for a further three years.

Volodymyr Venher, Dean of the Faculty of Law at NaUKMA, was first appointed as a Visiting Research Fellow following an academic fellowship at the Institute. His current Visiting Research Fellowship, originally granted for the period from November 2023 to November 2026, has now been extended for a further three years.

The extension of the Visiting Research Fellowship provides new opportunities for international academic collaboration, enabling members of the NaUKMA community to initiate and contribute to joint research and academic initiatives. One example of this academic engagement was the international seminar “Elections and Media: Newest Challenges, Threats, and Response”, organised as part of this collaboration at the University of Oxford.

The Institute of European and Comparative Law is one of the leading research centres within the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford. It advances research and teaching in the fields of European, comparative and competition law while fostering international academic links through its global community of scholars, academic visitors and visiting researchers.

The extension of Volodymyr Venher’s Visiting Research Fellowship at the Institute of European and Comparative Law opens further opportunities for international academic collaboration between NaUKMA and the University of Oxford.

We congratulate Volodymyr Venher on the extension of his Visiting Research Fellowship and wish him continued success in his academic work.
