Drafting procedural documents in pre-trial investigations
The academic course “Drafting procedural documents in pre-trial investigations” is aimed at providing in-depth knowledge and practical skills in preparing procedural documents drafted by the prosecution during the investigation of criminal offenses. Students familiarize themselves with the layouts of criminal proceedings materials, critically analyze them, determine their compliance with the current Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and independently, under the supervision of a teacher, draft a series of procedural documents.
The course provides students with the skills to apply the provisions of the current CPC of Ukraine, which regulate the conditions and procedure for investigators and prosecutors to make procedural decisions and draft relevant procedural documents, comply with the requirements of criminal procedural law regarding their structure and rules for drafting, familiarize other participants in criminal proceedings with them, and organize the execution of procedural decisions by the prosecution.
