NaUKMA makes history as first Ukrainian team to reach oral rounds of Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Competition Law Moot

The international competition in EU competition law, organised by King’s College London, brought together 12 of the world’s top teams selected through the written qualification round. Among them was the NaUKMA team, represented by Alisa Zelenko, Oleksandr Batkhin, Myroslava Krysan, and Yehor Kostiuchenko, and coached by our alumnae Mariia Bykova and Anastasiia Panchak.

The students tackled complex legal issues concerning the regulation of digital markets, the proportionality of restrictions on companies’ rights, and the independence of competition authorities.

The NaUKMA team advanced to the quarterfinals and ranked fifth in the written round! We are incredibly proud of these outstanding achievements!
