International biotechnology law

Given the globalization trends and rapid development of technologies, humanity faces a number of challenges and threats. The purpose of the course is to study current international regulation and practice of innovative developments and achievements in the field of application of technologies to living organisms. In particular, practical issues in the field of application of artificial intelligence systems, creation and application of substitute biological materials, biological research in the field of nutrition, environment and, of course, health care are analyzed. Within the framework of the course, special attention is paid to the activities of international organizations and the role of international justice in the aforementioned areas.
