Ukrainian Law for an International Audience: Expanding Cooperation

February 28 – March 1, the annual Ukrainian Law School kicked off at Faculty of Law and Administration Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie , organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv .
This year marks a special milestone – 15 years of the School. It stands as a remarkable example of sustainable institutional cooperation between universities.
Students of Jagiellonian University had a unique opportunity to explore Ukrainian law through lectures delivered by leading professors from Ukraine. The Dean of our faculty, dr. Volodymyr Venher , traditionally conducted a constitutional law course.
Next week, the baton will be passed to dr. Roksolana Khanyk-Pospolitak and dr. Volodymyr Pospolitak, Associate Professors of the Department of Private Law, who will share their expertise in civil law and procedure.
As part of the School, a meeting was held with the Dean of Faculty of Law and Administration Jagiellonian University, Prof. dr. hab. Piotr Dobosz. The discussion focused on further cooperation, particularly within the framework of the “From Warfare to Lawfare” program, which has been successfully implemented at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy for the second year in a row. The meeting also outlined joint plans for teaching public administration and future research initiatives.
A special thanks to dr. Aleksander Wrobel for his support and organization of the Ukrainian Law School at Jagiellonian University!
