The Faculty of Law at NaUKMA Team Recognised as Honorary Ambassadors of Ukraine
The team of the Faculty of Law at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy has been awarded the Honorary Ambassador of Ukraine 2025 distinction in the Academic and Educational Diplomacy category.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine hosted the official Honorary Ambassador of Ukraine 2025 award ceremony, recognising outstanding individuals and teams whose work strengthens Ukraine’s position on the international stage.
This year’s ceremony took place on the Day of Ukraine’s Diplomatic Service Workers, highlighting a key message: culture, education, and knowledge are powerful instruments of public diplomacy and international security. The event brought together diplomats, representatives of the public and civil sectors, cultural figures, and opinion leaders.
During the ceremony, Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, emphasised that Ukrainian diplomacy has succeeded in consolidating global support for Ukraine and that cultural diplomacy is an integral part of this effort. He also stressed that Ukrainian culture is an element of national security and an important geopolitical tool. The 2025 Honorary Ambassadors include representatives of cultural, sports, economic, digital, and expert diplomacy.
“For us, this recognition confirms just how vital support for Ukrainian students truly is. The Honorary Ambassador of Ukraine distinction is the highest award in the field of public diplomacy, and we are sincerely grateful to the Academy and our coaches for the opportunity to serve as Ukraine’s voice on the global stage. We are proud that achievements like this will help bring greater international recognition to our Faculty of Law as a leading school for future international lawyers,” shared Vladyslav Levchuk, a member of the team and a student of the Faculty of Law.
For our academic community, the recognition of the Faculty of Law at NaUKMA team in the Academic and Educational Diplomacy category is especially meaningful. It acknowledges the role of legal education, academic integrity, and the contribution of students and faculty to shaping Ukraine’s international standing.
We are proud of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy team at the Jessup Moot Court Competition 2025 and thank them for representing Ukraine and NaUKMA with distinction on the global stage.
