International conference “Principles of Law: Universal and Domestic in the Context of Contemporary Globalization and Eurointegration Processes”

Dear colleagues!

National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Faculty of Law is delighted to invite scholars and practitioners to participate in International conference “Principles of Law: Universal and Domestic in the Context of Contemporary Globalization and Eurointegration Processes” to be held on June 21-22, 2024.

The aim of the conference is to deeply analyze the tendencies of universal, civilizational and domestic components development in the system and essence of the principles of law within the context of globalization and integration transformations in Europe and in the world. Special focus will be made on the perspectives of possible amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine and Ukrainian legislation in terms of the future Ukrainian accession to the European Union and future effect of the rule of EU law at its legal system.

The conference is aimed to discuss different aspects of the principles of law at the sessions of General Theory of Law, Constitutional Law, Public Law, Private Law, Criminal Law, and International Law. Plenary and section sessions will be held both offline in Kyiv as well as online. The conference will be held in Ukrainian and English.

In order to participate in the conference, please, submit the topic and outline of your paper of no more than 5 pages. Organizers will select the topics in order of their relevance to the topic of the conference. Publication of conference paper outlines is also planned.
