Closing Lecture of the EU Digital Law Seminar Series

The final session of the EU Digital Law Seminar Series 2025 focused on important issues related to the development of digital law in the European Union.

Prof. Andrea Biondi, Advocate General at the Court of Justice of the European Union, in his lecture “The DMA: What Kind of Judicial Review?” 🔍 analysed the role of judicial review in the application of the provisions of regulations, in particular the Digital Markets Act (DMA), as well as in the development of relevant legal practice, emphasising the fundamental right to an effective remedy and a fair trial.

Avv. Igor Taccani, Référendaire at the Court of Justice of the European Union, in his presentation “The Contribution of the Court of Justice in Shaping EU Digital Law” 🏛, provided a detailed overview of the competences of the Court of Justice of the EU, the role of the Court and the legal positions of the Court in shaping digital law, as well as highlighted important court cases in this field.

The seminar series has become an engaging platform for learning, providing valuable knowledge from experts in digital transformation and EU law.
