A Conversation with ICJI and Truth Hounds

Late last year, a panel discussion was organized by the International Criminal Justice Initiative (ICJI) at Georgetown Law.

The discussion focused on the challenges, efforts, and successes in ensuring accountability for war crimes committed in Ukraine. Participants included experts documenting, investigating, and providing legal assessments of events that bear the characteristics of war crimes amid the armed conflict and Russian aggression against Ukraine.

The discussion was moderated by Alan Blakley, Visiting Professor at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. The panelists were:

– Volodymyr Hryshko, alumnus and PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law, Legal Advisor at Truth Hounds;
– Vladyslav Chyryk, alumnus and Master’s graduate of the Faculty of Law, Investigator at Truth Hounds;
– Christopher “Kip” Hale, Chief of Staff of the Atrocity Crimes Advisory (ACA) Group for Ukraine and the International Criminal Justice Initiative at Georgetown University.
