Strengthening International Cooperation: The Dean of the Faculty of Law in Florence

Volodymyr Venher participated in two significant international conferences in Florence, fostering academic connections and advancing global collaboration!

Together with Larysa Chovnyuk, the Head of the NaUKMA International Office, they represented National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy at the KIND – Knowledge and Informal Diplomacy conference, held at the Florence School of Transnational Governance.

During the event, special attention was given to the role of universities in promoting informal diplomacy, cultural exchange, and scientific cooperation. Participants from around the world shared experiences in developing educational initiatives and explored avenues for deepening international collaboration. The Dean actively engaged in discussions on expanding academic exchange opportunities and strengthening ties between educational institutions.

As part of this trip, Dean of the Faculty of Law also attended another conference at the European University Institute, dedicated to freedom, security, and justice in the EU in the digital age. This event brought together faculty and researchers from nine universities within the CIVICA network. Participants addressed challenges arising from the use of digital technologies within the European Union’s Area of Freedom, Security, and Justice (AFSJ).

We believe this experience will contribute to the exchange of knowledge in the field of law. We are grateful to our international partners for providing new opportunities for collaboration through these conferences.
