NaUKMA Law Centres to Receive State Funding
We congratulate the Rule of Law Research Centre and the Centre for Genocide and Human Rights Studies at the Faculty of Law of NaUKMA on receiving core state funding for the development of research in the social sciences. The funding was awarded pursuant to Order No. 246 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, dated 29 February 2024, “On Approval of the List of Higher Education Institutions Eligible to Receive State Funding in 2024 to Support Priority Areas of Scientific Research and Experimental Development Based on the Results of State Certification”.
In 2024, researchers from the two centres will conduct the following studies:
- “Assessment of New Weapons for Compliance with Ukraine’s Obligations under International Law”, led by Myroslava Antonovych, Head of the Centre for Genocide and Human Rights Studies, Doctor Habilitatus in Law, LLM, and Associate Professor.
- “The Rule of Law in the Activities of Local Self-Government Bodies in Ukraine during Wartime”, led by Yurii Kliuchkovskyi, Executive Director of the Rule of Law Research Centre, Doctor of Law, and Associate Professor at the Department of General Legal Theory and Public Law.
