Registration is now open for the 18th Summer Online School “Law in Germany”

The Faculty of Law of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy is pleased to announce the start of registration for the 18th Summer School “Law in Germany,” which will take place online from June 30 to July 18, 2025.
The programme is aimed at university lecturers, PhD candidates and students in the advanced stages of law studies who are interested in the legal system of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The working language of the school is German, so participants are expected to have at least a Mittelstufe (intermediate) level of German proficiency.
During the first week, participants will take a course in legal German. In the following two weeks, they will attend lectures on German law delivered by professors, lecturers and legal practitioners from Germany.
Upon successfully passing the final exam, participants will receive a certificate. Participation in the Summer School is free of charge.
The number of spots is limited. To apply, candidates must complete an application form in German and attach a CV in Ukrainian or English. After confirmation, participants will receive access to the online sessions.

Since 2007, the Summer School “Law in Germany” has been organized by the Faculty of Law of NaUKMA in cooperation with Heidelberg University, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, and Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie, with the support and funding of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst).
