Dr. Antonovych Represents Kyiv-Mohyla at Universidade do Minho, Portugal

At the Faculty of Law, one of our key missions is to strengthen international partnerships and share Ukrainian expertise with the global academic community. This week, Associate Professor, Doctor of Laws, and Head of the Center for Genocide and Human Rights Studies at NaUKMA, Myroslava Antonovych, is representing the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy through the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching program at the Universidade do Minho (Braga, Portugal).

During her visit, Dr. Antonovych delivered a series of lectures on the crimes committed by the Russian Federation during its aggression against Ukraine and the international legal responsibility for these crimes. She also focused on human rights violations and the crime of genocide in the context of Russia’s ongoing aggression.

In the course of the mobility program, Dr. Antonovych met with the Vice-Rector of the University of Minho, Manuel João Costa, the Director of the Center for Justice and Governance, the Erasmus and ARQUS teams, as well as professors and researchers of the Law School, including the mobility program coordinator, Professor Patrícia Jerónimo.

These meetings opened new avenues for potential cooperation and joint initiatives, creating opportunities for further academic development and meaningful international collaboration.
