WTO Law (in English)

In recent years, Ukraine has taken significant steps towards WTO membership. Over the past few months, significant progress has been made in this direction – the USA and the EU have recognized Ukraine as a state with market economy. Becoming a member of this organization will require knowledge of the operation of this structure and the specifics of development in accordance with relevant Ukrainian legislation. The course will focus on these issues. The following issues will also be considered: agreement on trade-related aspects of intellectual property rights; agreement on rules and procedures for dispute settlement; multilateral trade agreements with a limited number of participants. Since most of the members of the above organization are also EU member states, this course will briefly cover aspects of the relationship between the EU and the WTO, and the common trade policy of the EU.
