Scientific Writing in English by Direction (Academic Writing in Humanities, Sciences, IT )

The course aims at developing strong practical skills necessary for successful writing of a research article in English within one’s filed of studies to be published in a peer-reviewed journal. Planned as an integral part of PhD curriculum, the course is designed to lead PhD students through the main stages of preparing research publications as requested in their academic fields. The course will focus on the structure elements, appropriate vocabulary and grammar features of a research article, as well as deepen the PhD students’ level of expertise in linguistic skills that are required in English writing for academic purposes.
