The Summer School<\/span> <\/span>\u201cLaw in Germany<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span>,<\/span> which has been held annually in Ukraine since 2007, is <\/span>aimed at university lecturers, PhD candidates and students in the advanced semesters of law studies who are interested in the legal system of the Federal Republic of Germany.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2026, the Summer School is held online from June 29 to July 17<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The working language of the school is German, so participants are expected to have at least a <\/span><\/span><\/span>Mittelstufe<\/span><\/span><\/span> (intermediate) level of German proficiency.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

During the first week, participants will be offered a course to improve their legal German. The following two weeks will be de<\/span>dicated<\/span> to<\/span> s<\/span><\/span> tudy<\/span>ing<\/span> \u00a0<\/span>German law. The classes will be taught by professors<\/span>,<\/span> lecturers<\/span> and legal practitioners<\/span> from <\/span>Germany<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Participation in the Summer School is free of charge.<\/p>\n

The number of places<\/span> is limited.<\/p>\n

A certificate <\/span>will be<\/span> issued upon <\/span>completion of <\/span>the Summer<\/span> School, subject to successful completion of the final <\/span>examination<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

To <\/span>participate<\/span> in the competitive selection<\/span> process<\/span> for the Summer School, <\/span>applicants must <\/span>submit<\/span> the following documents<\/span>:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. CV (<\/span>in<\/span> Ukrainian<\/span> or<\/span> English<\/span>)<\/span><\/span>;<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Application form<\/strong> (in German).<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The application with the attached <\/span>CV<\/span> should be sent via the registration form.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    After confirmation, participants will receive access to the online sessions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    The <\/span>Summer S<\/span>chool <\/span>has been organized by the Faculty of Law of <\/span>NaUKMA<\/span> in cooperation with Heidelberg University, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and Jagiellonian University, with the support and funding of the German Academic Exchange Service <\/span>(<\/span><\/span>DAAD<\/a>). <\/span><\/span><\/span>
