At the end of the academic semester, we traditionally reflect on what has been accomplished. One of the key educational milestones of this year for the Faculty of Law at NaUKMA was the \u201cCriminal Investigation Standards\u201d course by JustLearn, delivered for master\u2019s students in law.<\/p>\n
For us, this course represents a fundamentally different approach to legal education. It goes beyond criminal procedure norms to focus on understanding the logic of the system itself: how decisions are made, how teams function, where the boundaries of responsibility lie, and why humanity is an essential element of fair justice.<\/p>\n
Throughout October\u2013November 2025, students worked closely with criminal justice practitioners \u2014 judges, prosecutors, detectives, and heads of law enforcement bodies. This format allowed them to see pre-trial investigation not as an abstract concept, but as a living process shaped by real challenges, dilemmas, and consequences.<\/p>\n
The course \u201cCriminal Investigation Standards\u201d was designed and delivered by the JustLearn development hub, supported by JustGroup, in partnership with the Faculty of Law of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.<\/p>\n
We are grateful to JustGroup for their work with our students and firmly believe that initiatives like this help shape the professional mindset of a new generation of lawyers \u2014 attentive to meaning and conscious of their responsibility within the criminal justice system.<\/p>\n
